Theme: Advancing Neurodiversity and the Sustainable Development Goals
The Child Neurology Society of Nigeria (CNSN) joins the Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN), the United Nations, and Children as well as Adults with Autism worldwide in celebrating this year’s World Autism Awareness Day, on this 2nd Day of April 2025.
The CNSN is committed to the theme and, focus of this year’s celebrations which encompasses: Inclusive healthcare, Quality education, Workplace accessibility, Reducing inequalities, and Designing autism friendly cities.
The CNSN enjoins all to:
- Eliminate barriers for autistic individuals
- Appreciate and celebrate autistic individuals’ achievements and contributions to the society
- Support the integration of autistic individuals in mainstream activities
- Embrace Neurodiversity
- Let us all support the goal of empowering autistic individuals to reach their full potential while ensuring their rights, dignity, and well-being.
